According to him; “It’s a super vulnerable yet enlightening song that talks about my reason to not need validation from anyone. “Nasumbula” to me is a wake-up call to do away with that dependency mentality waiting for people to come to my aid to push me to the next level. I keep telling myself to wake up and do something that will contribute towards the purpose that I’ve been chosen to do. I’m not the same person I was back in the day. I am walking into this new year with no remorse but God on my side.
