The maiden edition of the gospel music competition, Gospel Icons Africa (GIA) produces a champion, as Winny Ezeme emerges winner, after months of tight competition.
Speaking on the event, MD/CEO of Gospel Icons Africa, Esther Oladeji says; “We discovered that this transformational platform is needed to inspire Christian youths to stay true to God by embracing gospel music and discourage them from venturing into the secular music industry.”
“I believe Winny has a bright future in the gospel music arena. I urge her to keep spreading the message of hope, faith, and love to uplift and inspire audiences worldwide.” – she concludes.
Ezeme bags a cash prize of N10m, a brand new car, and a 2-year recording deal with M&E Music Company among other goodies.
Expressing her joy, the Enugu-born winner says; “I feel truly excited and overwhelmed because I count it as a privilege and an honor to be crowned the winner of Gospel Icons Africa season one. Thank you, GIA for creating a platform for youths to raise kingdom stars and talents.”
Gospel Icons Africa is a God-inspired platform for Gospel ambassadors, with a desire “for music to amplify their message throughout Africa.”
